About Me
Hi, my name is Cadence May, and I have been passionate about gymnastics since I could walk—literally! I started training at just one year old, and over the years, gymnastics has become a core part of who I am. Today, I am a Level 8 gymnast, working hard to improve every aspect of my performance with the dream of competing at the collegiate level in acro and tumbling.
Alongside my gymnastics career, I am also fortunate to work as an acrobat at Pirates Voyage, where I perform live in front of audiences. This experience has allowed me to combine the precision of gymnastics with the art of performance, building confidence both on and off the mat.
In 2021, 2022, and 2023, I had the honor of qualifying for gymnastics regionals, which has fueled my desire to keep pushing myself and strive for new goals. I believe that discipline, faith, and resilience are essential qualities that have helped me grow as an athlete and person.
My next chapter is to pursue acro and tumbling at the college level, where I can continue to develop my skills, grow as a teammate, and make meaningful contributions to a program that aligns with my passion and values.
